PROJECT MANAGER / EXPLORATION MANAGER / ECONOMIC GEOLOGIST with over 35 years
experience investigating, assessing and developing a wide variety of mineral
resources in a broad variety of geologic environments in Western North America,
South America and Africa. Main strengths are project management, management of
discovery-oriented exploration programs, regional exploration geologic field
mapping and data synthesis, report writing and publication, training and
guidance of personnel and the promotion and funding of projects.

MANAGEMENT - Excellent management and leadership skills and

Set up in US and Africa new, fully functional, exploration offices and field
operations, from inception to full operation, overseeing and managing all
aspects of the operations. Developed exploration and development procedures
which directly resulted in discoveries and in significant enhancement of
reserves.
Successfully managed independent geologic firm for over ten years conducting
independent geologic research studies for both the petroleum and mining
industries. Handled all aspects from the basic research through evaluation,

Planned, established and managed geologic programs in a wide variety of
geologic environments (volcanic, intrusive, metamorphic and sedimentary rocks
ranging in age from the Archean to the Recent) in both exploration and
developmental phases, from individual project size to large nation-wide
programs. Have worked in Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Russia and throughout much of
Africa (Burkina Faso, Burundi, Côte d'Ivoire, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia,
Ghana, Guinea, Kenya, Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania,
Uganda and Zimbabwe) as well as many areas of the western United States.
Conducted significant independent geologic research and prepared detailed
reports for sales to industry. Proficiency demonstrated by sales of reports to
more than 50 US and international petroleum and mining companies.
PROJECT PROMOTION - Both US and international projects, evaluated data
and prepared detailed technical documentation, and marketed them through
corporate contacts. Placed large international projects with major and junior
mining companies as well as smaller US projects. Coaching of foreign government
and business managers to prepare for promotional presentations to Western
audiences. Researched and prepared mineral industry promotion documents with AID
funding for Uganda and the Kola Oblast of Russia. Successful at generation of
project and operational funding.

 | WMC Liberia Management Ltd, Monrovia, Liberia, 1988-1991+ (Project
Manager) Total project management of an 8000 square mile, all-mineral
concession granted to a joint Western Mining Corporation (Australia) and
Government of Liberia company. Totally responsible for government relations,
logistics and project management. Conducted preliminary examinations,
assisted in negotiations with the government, planned budget for the
project, staffed the project, planned for the various material needs of the
project and acquired and shipped the necessary equipment and supplies and to
manage the project in country on final acquisition of the concession by WMC.
Project started as an exploration project for all minerals, including
diamonds, using remote sensing and reconnaissance geochemistry. Evolution of
the project included acquisition and operation of a portable washing plant
and planning for eventual mining operations. Position terminated as result
of Liberian civil war which started in December 1989. |

corporate clients in both the United States and Canada. Worked with
independent project owners to obtain funding and place their projects.
Consulted and managed projects in petroleum exploration, mineral exploration
and environmental geology. Explored for precious metals in Wyoming, Montana,
Idaho, Nevada and Arizona. Consulted in minerals exploration, prospected for
and acquired minerals properties for self and started research study
projects. Over 60 petroleum and mining company clients. Sold Liberia project
to WMC and was then hired to run the project. |

Discovered Moore Ranch uranium deposit as well as several smaller deposits
